Skookum is seeking a energetic and reliable General Clerk Lead with a professional attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for providing guidance to clerks engaged in issue, turn-in, and direct exchange transactions of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE).
Ensures employees are adequately trained to complete jobs in a safe manner; trains clerks in proper issue and turn-in procedures, maintaining proper documentation of issue/turn-in and direct exchanges.
Maintains excellent customer service by ensuring customers receive the appropriate levels of care and attention, assisting customers with questions or complaints, and keeping clerk personnel efficient and accurate in their work.
Assists in maintaining accurate records for OCIE property issued, turned-in and direct exchanged.
Reviews completed work of clerks to ensure correct processes and procedures have been followed.
Constantly monitors quality of work to exceed contract standards.
Assists with conducting annual inventories.
Coach, mentor and resolve employee concerns in a respectful and mutually beneficial manner.
Monitor employees to ensure efficient use of time, performance and understanding of work tasks.
Record daily personnel attendance and track employee absences, tardiness, etc.
Monitor employee interactions and conduct, documenting misconduct on designated Skookum forms.
Responsible for balancing and preparing cash collection deposit tickets.
Assists in maintaining the accuracy of CIF transactions in Installation Support Modules (ISM).
Qualifications:
Experience in retail operations.
Knowledge of supply management procedures and techniques.
Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office.
Ability to interact with customers and handle complaints.
Ability to read and analyze technical reports.
Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
Ability to read and interpret productivity and quality reports.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking.
Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
